During this season we want to lean into God’s desire to grow us in a key character trait: Generosity.
With hearts of generosity and sacrificial giving that goes beyond tithing, we’ll step deeper into our calling as believers to be wholehearted disciples of Jesus — to be His hands and feet.
It’s a beautiful opportunity to link arms as a family of believers and invest in a God-honoring, people-edifying, kingdom-advancing ministry.
Here at New Hope, we exist to love God and love others. We want to help people everywhere come to know Jesus and experience his goodness and astounding love. Our number one priority is making disciples in a healthy church environment.
Our mission with this initiative is to lay a firm and healthy foundation for ministry so we can go out into the world strong and unwavering, ready to mobilize and equip a new generation of disciples.
What does that look like?
Our Father has blessed every one of us with different resources on different levels. Only you and Him know what you’re capable of giving.
Pastor Chip Ingram writes, “In a sense, everything you do is an investment. You are always pouring your time, talent, and treasure into something. And whatever you’re pouring into, that’s where your heart is. You devote yourself to certain people, projects, and possessions. It’s unavoidable. You can do that intentionally, or you can do it randomly. Either way, you’re constantly making an investment. And every investment has its returns, either for good or bad.”
We encourage you to pray and ask God, how you can join New Hope’s generosity initiative.
Link arms with us on this journey of growing New Hope. We know your faith will be deepened, strengthened, and your life will be transformed through a heart of generosity!
Taste and see that God is good, and experience his provision!
Generosity is more than a number — it’s a lifestyle we’re called to live as Christians.
The goal of this initiative is more than simply raising a large amount of money. It’s to grow each of us in our faith by cultivating a lifestyle that reflects God's generosity to our families, church, and community.
One pastor said it best, “The way we spend our time and the way we spend our money says what's really important to us, he said. “When you give to God, guess where your heart goes? It goes toward God. It draws you closer. It's an act of worship.”
Here at New Hope, we want to be known for our generosity and care for others.
Just as Jesus called us to love him and others, we demonstrate this by living and giving abundantly in Christ.
One thing we always want is for you to feel clear about where your beyond-tithing donation is going.
Here’s a breakdown of the four areas we’ll be pouring these funds into:
We want to risk gospel success by kicking off this initiative and seeding it with a portion of our current budget surplus. Because of the current generosity of the people of New Hope, we have a surplus for the first time in our existence.
We want to fan into the flame what God is already doing in our hearts. Ephesians 3:20-21 says, “Now to him who is able to do far more abundantly than all that we ask or think, according to the power at work within us, to him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations, forever and ever. Amen.”
We have big dreams at New Hope for what God is going to do in and through us, and yet Scripture teaches us that God can do ABUNDANTLY more than we can ask or think, so we risk success.
With your support, we have faith that we’ll meet our overall financial goal to add an additional full-time staff member to exponentially equip and empower others, expand our footprint, pay off debt, and ultimately reach more people who will come to know Jesus.
We encourage you to join us on this journey and watch what God can do, not only within the four walls of the church, but in your own heart and personal life. We serve a mighty God who works in powerful ways!
Take a look at some of the opportunities our church has to become better equipped in allowing us to empower and engage people. To lay a stronger foundation for a god-honoring, people-edifying, and kingdom-advancing ministry.
